Associate

Tsedensodnom (Terry) Uranbold joined the E-ledgers Institute in April 2026 as an Associate.

Prior to joining the Institute, Uranbold worked as a Student Analyst in the Chief Economist Office at the World Bank, where he developed market models and conducted investment due diligence across African power markets. He has also served as an Innovation Financing Fellow at the Natural Resources Defense Council, where he led post-investment impact analysis of $3.8 billion in US Department of Energy clean energy funding and built analytical tools deployed for policy engagement.

Earlier, Uranbold worked on-site with Rio Tinto at the Oyu Tolgoi copper mine — one of the world’s largest copper mines — conducting operational analytics and strategy work. He is the founder of Polaris Energy Insights, an independent energy research and advisory platform, and has published peer-reviewed research on energy solutions for data centers in Energy Reports (Elsevier).

Uranbold holds a Master of Environmental Management in Energy and Finance and a Bachelor of Economics, both from Duke University.
