Our co-founders, Professors Bob Kaplan and Karthik Ramanna, and Marc Roston (Senior Fellow) discussed accounting for carbon offsets at the Accountability in a Sustainable World Conference 2023 that took place online during Climate Week NYC. They laid out the principles of carbon offset accounting, provided illustrative examples of the E-ledger, and discussed the approach’s critical implications on forming effective carbon markets.
In another discussion with Piyush Jha, Tata Steel’s Head of Climate and Sustainable Finance, our co-founders shared key learnings and insights from piloting the E-liability approach with leading industry organizations in sectors such as steel, cement, and automotive.
