We are a California-based nonprofit organization, organized and operated exclusively for public purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code.

The E-liability Institute, Inc. (doing business as the E-ledgers Institute) exists to advance the E-ledgers concept as the global gold standard for emissions accounting.

The Institute is funded through philanthropic contributions, and these contributions help us accomplish our mission by advising on pilots, publishing studies, and disseminating the findings. The Institute does not charge for its services and has no commercial interests in furthering the adoption of the E-ledgers methodology.
