Our co-founder, Karthik Ramanna, co-chaired the Aspen Forum on Carbon Accounting alongside Peter Freed (Stanford University) and Andrew Steer (Former President and CEO, Bezos Earth Fund and World Resources Institute), hosted by the Aspen Institute. The forum explored the role of rigorous carbon accounting in improving measurement, aligning standards, supporting efficient markets and trade mechanisms, and unlocking private finance.

Our co-founder, Professor Karthik Ramanna, participated in a roundtable session, “Measuring What Matters: Data, Strategy, and Climate Transition” coorganized in Santiago by CoMov and Empatthy and in alliance with the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and the UN Global Compact – Chile. The session convened senior leaders from across industry, finance, and professional services to discuss how credible, product-level carbon accounting can support better decision-making and align climate goals with growing energy demand, competitiveness, and market access.

AmCham EU hosted a private roundtable in Brussels on simplifying emissions calculation for the EU CBAM. Our co-founder, Professor Karthik Ramanna, joined industry leaders, experts, and EU officials to discuss the secondary legislation for CBAM’s definitive phase and focusing on simplifying emissions-calculation methods that are both effective and practical for stakeholders across global value chains.

On November 19, our co-founder, Professor Karthik Ramanna, spoke at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine’s webinar, Collecting GHG Emissions Data: Current Capabilities and Challenges. The session explored how AI can improve the accuracy and efficiency of greenhouse gas data collection, featuring Shelie Miller (University of Michigan) and moderated by Alicia Seiger (Chan Zuckerberg Initiative).
