On June 17-18, 2025, the E-ledgers Institute participated in the Atlantic Council Global Energy Forum in Washington, D.C. Professor Karthik Ramanna, our co-founder, spoke on the panel “The Makings of a Manufacturing Powerhouse: Legacy Strength and New Frontiers” alongside Brandon Spencer (ABB Motion), Julian Mylchreest (Bank of America), and Catherine Hunt Ryan (Bechtel), moderated by Neil Brown (KRR). Karthik also led a private roundtable, bringing together influential voices to discuss key challenges and opportunities in emissions accounting.

As part of Ipieca Week 2025 in London, our co-founder, Professor Karthik Ramanna spoke on a panel on carbon accounting in the energy sector. Karthik was joined by Julie Mulkerin (Chevron) and Rebecca Winkel (American Petroleum Institute).

At the 2nd U.S.-Asia Sustainable Development Summit, hosted at Harvard, our co-founder, Professor Robert S. Kaplan, joined a keynote session with Aiqing Yang (JA Solar). The discussion explored how the E-liability approach can inform electricity emissions measurement and its implications for the energy sector.

Our co-founder, Professor Karthik Ramanna, discussed how we can improve the robustness of supply chain data for decarbonization as part of the annual IEMA Connect conference. He explored recent case studies to demonstrate steps companies are taking in practice, as well as the important role of carbon accountants in both product-level supply chain decarbonization and effective implementation of policy and regulatory tools, like CBAM.
