Sandy Lum
Operations Associate
Sandy Lum joined the E-ledgers Institute as Operations Associate in January 2025. She assists in developing and executing all aspects of the Institute’s strategy and operations, including driving pilot initiatives.
Prior to joining the Institute, Lum conducted LCA research to inform emissions-reduction strategies in the Portuguese footwear industry and investigated the complexities of lithium mining for the energy transition in South America and Europe. She has also led multi-week wilderness expeditions across the U.S. and Europe with Moondance Adventures.
Lum holds a B.A. in Global Sustainability and the Environment and a minor in Public Policy and Leadership from the University of Virginia.
